Most "what is my IP" sites were built to sell a VPN. They score your "anonymity" in red, tell you that you are exposed, and put a buy button underneath. Several of the biggest ones also challenge visitors who are already on a VPN or a cloud server, and refuse requests from command-line tools — the very people most likely to need the answer.
iseeu.cc does the opposite. It shows you the facts a website receives with every request — your IP address and what it implies, the headers your browser sends, how your browser negotiates encryption, what WebRTC and fingerprinting scripts can learn — and explains each one in plain language, with a clear label on whether you can change it. It compares the signals the way fraud-detection and anti-bot systems do, so you can see the same contradictions they would. It does not score you, scare you or push a product.
Principles
- No logs. Responses are computed for one request and discarded. There is no visitor database. See the privacy page.
- Almost no third parties. No ads, no cookies, no web fonts, no cross-site trackers. Two things come from outside our own code, both run by our host, Cloudflare: a cookieless page-view counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics), and the STUN server the WebRTC test asks for your address, which is the point of that test.
- No challenges. VPN users, cloud servers, curl and AI agents get an answer, not a CAPTCHA.
- Honest limits. We say what we cannot do: no DNS leak test, no "uniqueness" score, no claim that an address is or is not a VPN.
- Fast. The home page is a few dozen kilobytes and needs a single request to our server.
The toolbox
Around the main page sits a small set of everyday network tools: DNS and RDAP/WHOIS lookups, a security headers check, an email header analyzer, a subnet calculator, a MAC address lookup, a Punycode converter and a browser feature report. Each one does a single job, explains its result in plain words and follows the same rules as the rest of the site: no logs, no accounts, no tracking. The full list is on the tools page.
How it works
iseeu.cc runs on Cloudflare Workers. When your request reaches Cloudflare's edge, the network attaches the facts it already knows about the connection — the IP's country and network, the TLS version, the HTTP version — and our small program formats them for you. The browser checks run in your own browser and their results never leave it. The code that builds each answer is short enough to read in an afternoon.
For developers and agents
The same data is available as plain text, JSON and an MCP server, free and without a key. Start at the API & MCP page.
